Professional Development Program

This benefit is intended to provide resources conducive to furthering or maintaining your professionaldevelopment.  There is $1,500 per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to use for this program. 
The employee will self-certify that an expense is eligible for reimbursement and is work-related.
Note:  The $1,500 per FY is available for either the Professional Development or Education Reimbursement Programs and can be split between the two programs, if desired.  Please read the Policy and LOU first!

The Professional Development expenses are required to be work-related, which is very broad term.  Employees who misuse these funds can be subject to disciplinary actions according to our labor agreement, as stated in the LOU.

To be safe - If you are in doubt whether an expense is eligible, please ask Nanette Bailey, APECS President or another member of the APECS Board before submitting the form.
